Who Can Study Abroad?
University of Arkansas students who are in good academic standing and who’ve completed at least 24 credit hours on our campus are eligible to look into study abroad. Every study abroad program could have it’s own requirements beyond these basics, so check with the program application for more on the specific expectations for your program.
Global Student Experiences
“Studying abroad was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to step outside my comfort
zone. I loved my experience in Switzerland – the program is robust and definitely
helped me to become more well-rounded. I highly recommend and encourage studying abroad
to everyone."
Breanna Kilgore, Switzerland
“If you are thinking about studying abroad and are on the fence, I absolutely recommend
it. There is something so fulfilling about trying something new or traveling somewhere
new. You have so many opportunities to learn about yourself as well. I wouldn't trade
the memories, knowledge and lifelong friends I gained for anything."
Eddie Chambers, Rome
"Getting to go abroad allows you to question and learn about yourself in ways that
you may have at home. I fully believe this experience has not only renewed my excitement
to finish my degree but also further ignited my wonder for what the future will bring."
Kaylea Henretty, Japan
