Prepare to Go Abroad

The summer of 2009 will be a time that I will never forget. I recently had the opportunity to study abroad in Greece with the Walton College. I knew that I was going to have a great classroom experience, but that was just the beginning. Only a small portion of the study abroad experience comes from the classroom. Some of the greatest and most memorable moments during my trip occurred when I found myself immersed in the Greek community and interacting with the local people. During the course of the trip, I found myself doing incredible things that I had never done before. Studying abroad in Greece was an amazing experience, but it would have never had happen without preparation.
