Football Game"I can still remember my plan to come to college in the USA, what a big deal for someone like me that have always been dreaming about it since he started watching all these US TV shows on the french TV! Oh I wanted to go to the University of Texas, but Texas did not want me to study for free so I forgot about the longhorns and started looking for an exchange program!

They offered me ARKANSAS! what? ARKANSAS? come on that's a small college in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the USA, and they have a running pig as mascot, are u kidding me?

As soon as I got to Arkansas I knew that place was just perfect for me, I felt so welcomed first by the international students community, then by the american students, even by the rednecks!!! I became probably the razorback fan number one! I was so far from home but felt so home in Fayetteville!

I enjoyed every single moment of my time in Arkansas, but I know that it's not only about the great University we have, it's not about the great place I have been living for a year, it's all about the people I met during that year. It's all about every single moment I had with each of you. Study sessions, coffee, roomies life, nightlife, crazy parties, trips, walks, snow time, freezing time, dates (yes I dated sometimes), football, Lacrosse, ridding the red bus, orientation.... all those things I have done with my new friends have been so amazing.

Before coming to Arkansas, I was a businessman! I entered the Walton College of Business with the idea that I would learn a lot from this school with the Walmart spirit...but all the people I met during this year, all the people from the world but also the americans & the great teachers, changed my mind about being a businessman. I felt that I wanted to care more about people than about money, I felt that I would rather save the world than earning millions and this big change in my mind came up with the whole experience I had this year. Meeting all of these people was the most valuable class I have ever taken!

It's always hard to explain how great something was, but I can tell you something, my experience in Arkansas is one of these story u don't know how to explain because it was so great!"

So, why University of Arkansas?

With outstanding students, highly recognized areas of study and primo sports programs, the University of Arkansas is a major source of pride for both Fayetteville and the state.

Founded in 1871, it’s the state’s largest and most distinguished institution of higher learning. More than 19,000 students and 3,500 faculty and staff call the U of A home.

The campus overflows with beauty and history. Beginning at the front steps of Old Main, every graduate’s name is etched into Senior Walk, a pathway stretching more than five miles. Among the alumni listed are Robert Mauer, inventor of fiber optic technology, Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys and J. Walker Keller, developer of the heart pacemaker.

The state’s only major research university offers a high-caliber education, with 216 undergraduate and graduate programs in nine schools. Nationally, the U of A is ranked within the top 150 research universities, yet the institution continues to hold place among America’s 100 Best College Buys.

The Razorbacks are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, and game-time is no exception. Since joining the Southeastern Conference 15 years ago, the Hogs have won 27 national championships.

Semester after semester, season after season, academically and athletically, the University of Arkansas continually sets the mark for high achievement in Arkansas and nationwide.
