- Immunization Requirements
The state of Arkansas has certain immunization requirements which must be met. The University of Arkansas requires all full-time and part-time students to provide proof of vaccinations against mumps, rubella, and measles except when exempted for medical or religious reasons.
Students will NOT be able to register for classes until they have the 2 MMRs documented with the Health Center. Students who fail to comply with the immunization requirement will also risk cancellation of registration if this is not taken care of early in the semester.
Before registering for classes, students must do one of the following:
- Provide proof of at least one of the two immunization doses
- Or provide proof of medical exemption
- Or provide proof of religious exemption
Those vaccinations are available at the Pat Walker Health Center, as well as all county health departments in Arkansas and in local physician offices. If you have any questions about the immunization requirement please call the Pat Walker Health Center at 479-575-4451, option 1. To avoid any delays or impediments in your registration process, please act now and submit your immunizations information as requested.
The form, available for download, may be scanned, and your proof of vacinnations, and emailed to Laura Moix or sent via mailed to:
