- All participants will be assessed off-campus tuition and/or a program fee (this fee combines other expenses, i.e. lodging, local transportation, excursions, administrative fees, insurance), which will be placed on the student's ISIS account.

Community Development (Summer I Program) International Service Learning Project in cooperation with Peacework. Students explore the history, culture, and socio-economic development of Belize, and each student then engages in more focused study of an area that relates to a specific community field placement. Business Seminar in Brazil (Summer I Program) Students delve into the economic, business, political, and cultural environment and trends in Brazil and are introduced to the key issues in the Brazilian/American economic and business relationship. New! Medieval England (Summer I Program) For students interested in English, History, and the Humanities. Provides an introduction to English history and culture from the Anglo-Saxon, Anglo-Norman, and Middle English periods. Tibetans in Exile: A Study Tour in India (Summer I Program) For students with a background or interest in oral traditions, Tibetan religion and history, or anthropology. The project, entitled Tibetans in Exile Today, or TEXT, will record and archive in digital form the life stories of the older Tibetan monks who remember Tibet as it once was, and who successfully made the perilous passage over the Himalayan mountains. ITALY
- NEW! UA Summer Campus in Rome (Summer I & Summer II Program) Students can earn core credits (those needed to complete any degree at the UofA) as early as their Freshman summer, as well as taking Italian, Roman/Italian culture courses, European Studies topics and Art courses. Students can take Italian language lessons, but all other courses are taught by UofA faculty in English. Undergraduate credit available. Offered Summer 2013
NEW! Sustainability in Italy (Summer I Program) In addition to addressing principles of sustainability in the European context, students will also develop a group project working on the “ex-GIL” by Luigi Moretti, a masterpiece of modern architecture managed by the Region Lazio and located in the heart of Trastevere.
UA Rome Center (Fall or Spring Semester Program) This program allows undergraduate students to enroll and receive UA credit while spending the semester abroad at the Rome Center in Rome, Italy. This program is available for both UA and non-UA students who are interested in Humanities and/or Architecture. Students receive instruction in beginning Italian, but all courses are taught in English by UA faculty members. Offered Spring 2013
