International Writers Course in Galway

This four week, six credit hour program is offered to both undergraduate and graduate students interested in sharpening their writing skills. Located at the national University of Ireland at Galway, the program offers students a chance to meet Irish writers, polish their creative writing skills, and explore Ireland.

Included in the program are writing workshops, a seminar on Modern Irish Literature, and thrice-weekly guest readings by Ireland's most prominent writers (including Theo Dorgan, Paula Meehan, Mary Morrissy, Dermot Healey, Mike McCormack, Kerry Hardie, Moya Cannon and Gerard Donovan).
