Grades will be assessed by the following methods:
1. daily journals, focusing on reactions to site vists informed by the course reading
2. site reports (two per student, 10-15 minutes in length, with 2-3 pages of notes to be turned in)
3. participation (based on questions and comments on-site & participation in discussion sessions held every 2-3 days)
4. 8-10 page final paper

Additional requirements for honors credit: additional site reports, journal entries and longer final paper
