Business Seminar in India

Highlights & Photos

The India Study Abroad program provides students with the opportunity to explore and identify trends in the economic, business, political, and cultural environments in India, while gaining a better understanding of the economic relationship between the U.S. and India.

Students may earn up to six hours of Undergraduate or Graduate credit.

Tentative Dates for Summer 2013: May 15-June 5, 2013

The program involves three Saturday classes in the Spring, and two classes just before departure. While in India, students will travel extensively throughout the country with visits to multiple cities planned. Participants will have an opportunity to visit with Indian families, engage in service-learning projects with Non-Governmental Organizations, and interact with Indian businesses and business leaders. Students will also be introduced to the ancient cultural and historic legacy of India. Additionally, students will visit some of the best wild-life sanctuaries in the world.

Please contact Alan Ellstrand (aellstrand@walton.uark.edu) or Vikas Anand (vanand@walton.uark.edu) for more information on how to join the trip in Summer 2013.
