Jönköping University has a genuinely international orientation and promotes a range of innovative initiatives to create an even more enriching environment for students and researchers from all over the world. The campus offers a truly international academic environment with a student population of 9 500 students, of whom 1 000 are international students. In 2007, there were international students from 80 countries studying at Jönköping University.
The exchange programmes also attract teachers and guest lecturers from all over the world to Jönköping. Jönköping University is one of the leading universities in Sweden in the scope of its international exchange. The University has an extensive exchange with approximately 350 partner universities worldwide.
The School of Health Sciences in Jönköping, Sweden focuses on education and research in health, care and social work. It is characterized by high academic standards, clear-cut profile areas and long experience of education and research.
By offering a number of courses in English, the school strives to integrate students from all over the world. This international mix of students and teachers ensures a global and broadened perspective.
