Students can spend an academic year or a spring semester studying at Shimane University in Matsue. Students are able to pick from a a wide variety of liberal arts and business courses offered in Japanese.
Shimane Prefecture has been essentially unchanged for centuries and provides a unique view of Japanese traditions and culture not available anywhere else.
Leadership for the program comes from the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
