Gilman International Scholarship Program Up to $5,000 for semester or year, must be U.S. citizen and current Pell Grant recipient For application procedures visit: http://www.iie.org/gilman Deadline: September for Spring programs / April for Fall programs
National Security Education Program Up to $20,000. Must study in geographic areas, languages, and fields of study critical to U.S. National Security; must fulfill service requirement upon graduation or termination of studies. Visit http://www.iie.org/nsep for application procedures. Appointment with NSEP advisor in Office of Study Abroad required as part of application process. Deadline: February (campus deadline January)
Rotary International Scholarships Up to $26,000. Students must have completed at least 2 years of college coursework. Apply through hometown Rotary club. Freeman in Asia $7,000 year $5,000 semester $3,000 summer (8 week minimum) Must be eligible for federal financial aid May select from 15 Asian countries For application procedures visit http://www.iie.org/pgms/freeman-asia/ Deadline: October for Spring programs / March for Summer and Fall programs
Bridging Japan Scholarship $2500-$4,000 depending on length of program Students majoring in any field of study are eligible to apply. Japanese language background is not a requirement. $10,000 scholarships for students with an interest in economics and international finance. Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants 50 study abroad grants of $1,000 each Students majoring in any field of study are eligible to apply. Students must have a minimum of 30 credit hours by the deadline and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on the 4.0 scale.
