Study abroad scholarship application deadlines are usually between February 1 and March 1 for programs beginning in the summer or fall.  Spring program deadlines are usually at the beginning of October.  Some scholarships are only offered once a year (deadlines usually in February) so check carefully.

In most cases, you can also use your current scholarships and financial aid to help finance your study abroad program.

Students using Federal, State, UA, or other scholarships awards for study abroad are responsible for submitting a list of estimated student expenses to the Office of Study Abroad (OSAIE). This includes the program fee, tuition, room and board, transportation, books, and personal expenses. This does NOT include expenses for entertainment and pleasure travel. OSAIE will prepare a budget to submit to the appropriate office. Financial aid awards and/or scholarships cannot be disbursed until this is information is submitted to OSAIE. Program payment due dates may be delayed if you inform them that you will use scholarship/financial aid funds to pay fees. Programs will often require proof of scholarship/financial aid award which can be obtained from OSAIE.
