While the bulk of Glimpse content is written by study abroad students, anyone who is living in another country for a month or longer is eligible to contribute. We are less inclined to accept stories from “on-the-move” travelers; we are primarily interested in the experiences of those volunteering, working and/or studying in a single place for an extended period of time.

The games we play: Have you had an experience with a new or unfamiliar sport while abroad? Or an unusual experience with a familiar sport? Our Fall 2008 issue of Glimpse will focus on sporting around the world -- and we want your story.

Whether it's korfball, cricket or kayaking, we want to know how people in your host country amuse themselves through healthy competition.

Share your experiences as either a sports spectator or participant abroad. Describe these experiences using vivid narrative detail. Focus on the details but also consider the cultural context: how does this sport reflect your host country's cultural idiosyncrasies?
