BELIZE 

Community Development (Spring Course and Summer I Program)  International Service Learning Project in cooperation with Peacework. Students explore the history, culture, and socio-economic development of Belize, and each student then engages in more focused study of an area that relates to a specific community field placement. Must be enrolled in HUMN 425V(H) or WCOB 410V(H) for Spring Semester.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available. 

BRAZIL

Business Seminar in Brazil    (Summer I Program) Students delve into the economic, business, political, and cultural environment and trends in Brazil and are introduced to the key issues in the Brazilian/American economic and business relationship.  Must have completed ECON 2013/2023 or ECON 2143 before leaving. Undergraduate and Graduate credit available. Summer '08 Program Full.

CANADA

French in Chicoutimi   (Summer II Program)  Intensive French language program in Quebec. For students who would like to continue their study of French in the unique atmosphere of French Canada.   Must have completed FREN 1013 or equivalent before leaving.  Undergraduate credit available.  Application due March 3rd.

CHINA

Business Seminar in China  (Summer I Program)  Students investigate the economic, business, political, and cultural environment and trends in China and are introduced to the key issues in the Chinese/American economic and business relationship.  Must have completed ECON 2013/2023 or ECON 2143 before leaving.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available.  Undergraduate Session Cancelled--only MMBA section available Summer '08.

EGYPT

Bioarcheological Field School  NEW! (Spring Course and Program)   For students with a background or interest in Archeology and Anthropology.  This program offers a great chance to experience Egyptian culture and do field research.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available.  Spring '08 Program Full.

ENGLAND

Communication at Oxford/Cambridge   (Summer II Program)  For students with an interest in communication, history, and law.  Focusing on the history and philosophy of freedom of expression, as well as the communicative aspects that shape legal cultures.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available. Application & Deposit due March 3rd.
Theatre in London  (Summer I Program)  Students interested in drama, theatre, history and literature.  Insight into the ways in which the literary and dramaturgical aspects of theatre work together to enrich and stimulate understanding of plays.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available.  Summer '08 Program Full.

FRANCE

French in Besançon   (Summer I Program)  Intensive French language program at the Centre de Linguistique Appliquée. For students who would like to continue their study of French and experience real French culture.  Undergraduate credit available.  Summer '08 Program Full.

GREECE

Agricultural Communications  (Summer I Program)  For students interested in learning more about the global issues related to agriculture, food and life sciences in the modern globalized economy of Greece.  Undergraduate and Graduate Credit Available.  Summer '08 Program Cancelled.

Classics   (Summer I Program)  For students with a background or interest in classical Greek history, politics, art, religion, literature or anthropology. Offered odd-numbered years.  Undergraduate and graduate credit available.  Summer '09 information available Fall '08.

INDIA

Tibetans in Exile: A Study Tour in India  NEW! (Summer I Program) For students with a background or interest in oral traditions, Tibetan religion and history, or anthropology.  The project, entitled Tibetans in Exile Today, or TEXT, will record and archive in digital form the life stories of the older Tibetan monks who remember Tibet as it once was, and who successfully made the perilous passage over the Himalayan mountains. Undergraduate and Graduate credit available.   Summer '08 Program Full.
Global India  (Summer II Program) For students interested in learning more about the international 365/24/7 workplace and the integration of science, engineering and business disciplines in the modern globalized economy of India.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available. 
Business Seminar in India    (Fall Course and Winter Program) Students explore the economic, business, political, and cultural environment and trends in India, as well as the economic relationship between the U.S. and India.  Must interview with Dr. Vikas Anand.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available.  Fall '07 Program Full.

IRELAND

International Writers' Course in Galway   (Summer II Program)  For students with an interest in Creative Writing, Poetry and Irish Literature.  Writing Workshops, Seminar on Modern Irish Literature, and thrice-weekly guest readings by Ireland's most prominent writers. Undergraduate and graduate credit available.  Application due March 3rd.

ITALY

Art in Rome    (Summer I Program)  Studio Art Workshop in Rome. For art majors or students with prior training in sketching or painting.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available.  

 JAPAN

Unfamiliar Japan   UPDATED! (Summer I Program)  For students with a background or interest in Japan, Asian Studies, media studies, journalism, or inter-cultural communication. Undergraduate credit available. New Asian Studies Scholarship Available! 
Business Seminar in Japan  (Summer I Program)  Students explore the economic, business, political, and cultural environment and trends in Japan, as well as the economic relationship between the U.S. and Japan.  Must have completed ECON 2013/2023 or ECON 2143 and interview with Dr. Robert Stapp.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available.  Summer '08 Program Full.

MEXICO

Spanish in Cuernavaca  (Summer I Program)  Spanish Language & Latin American Culture and Society. For students with a background in Spanish, and an interest in Latin American Studies and Mexican literature. Must have completed SPAN 1013 or eqivalent before leaving.  Undergraduate credit available.  Application due March 3rd.

MOROCCO

Arabic at Al-Akhawayn University, Ifrane  (Summer I Program)  Arabic Language. For students with a background in Arabic and an interest in North African  and Middle East studies and literature. Undergraduate credit available. Application due March 3rd.

RUSSIA

St. Petersburg Law Institute   (Summer II Program)  For law students interested in studying international and comparative law in the historic cities of Novgorod and St. Petersburg, Russia.  Up to 5 credit hours offered toward law degree.  Application due March 3rd.

SOUTH AFRICA

Political, Social & Natural History  (Summer I Program)  South African Civilization & Anthropology. For students with a background or interest in classical and contemporary African history, politics, geography, wildlife. Undergraduate credit available.  

SWEDEN

Health Teams Abroad   (Summer I Program)  For students interested in health professions such as pre-med, nursing, gerontology, speech-language pathology and other pre-therapy, as well as students in social work, psychology, business and engineering who wish to concentrate on health science.  Undergraduate credit available.  Summer '08 Program Full.

SYRIA

Archeological Field School  (Summer I Program)  For students with a background or interest in Archeology and Anthropology.  This program offers a great chance to do field research at Tell Qarqur and explore various archeological sites around Syria.  Undergraduate and Graduate credit available.
